Seven years ago, I purchased this flat iron from QVC and gave it to myself for Christmas. :D It lasted five years; QVC stopped selling it, so for two years, I worked with cheap flat irons that damaged my hair. :( The end.

Well, I found my flat iron on Amazon, and I had a *heavenly choir* moment. So, naturally, I bought it.

I am so in love with this flat iron! It makes my hair shiny and it's not damaged-looking like with other flat irons. I love how the heat is adjustable and that the plates can be switched out for different curls and volumizing styles. My favorite is the smaller triangle plates because they lift the roots nicely and give my ends a distinctive flip.

The one thing I love with this purchase that I did not receive when I initially ordered my flat iron years ago is the styling guide, comb, and clips. The guide has some nice tips, and the comb helps me achieve a nice part in my hair. I also need to the mention that the cord "swivels" at the base, so I don't have to worry about annoying "twisty cord of doom!"

Now, the only con I have is that the price is higher here than what I initially paid (I bought this for $25 on QVC when they had it; of course, I'm sure inflation factors in). However, it is worth the price! After Christmas, I am buying a backup because my hair cannot go without this iron!

And a tip for fellow buyers, wash the plates before using. When you heat the plates the first time, they have a funky smell, so a little soap and water will eliminate that. ;)

I was skeptical. Living in Hawai�i, with an annual rainfall in my neighborhood of over 125", we lived with a lot of mosquitos. Doing laundry meant running a gauntlet of hungry biters.A neighbor had tried a competing, propane-powered mosquito trap, that was patently ineffective. The manufacturer of this competing unit explained to my neighbor that the species of mosquito most problematic here, the Asian Tiger mosquito (Aedes albopictus), was not the target species for their unit.We deployed the SonicWeb device in mid-January, and by the middle of February, both my wife and I noticed a distinct reduction in the number of mosquitos. We also noticed that one of our pets, who has an allergy to mosquitos and who had suffered from a chronic raw irritation on his nose, experienced a marked healing. By the end of the month of February, the mosquito population by our laundry was virtually nonexistent.Interestingly, I've noted very few adult female Aedes albopictus on the sticky paper. Most of the mosquitos I see there are small, leading me to suspect that the trap is attracting juveniles and males, effectively interrupting the mating and reproductive cycle.It's now June. I absolutely LOVE these products. The Rose Serum not only smells divine (I wish I could eat it!), it's done wonders for my complexion.
