Multi View Style 2 - Pewter - Strength - Strength +2.25 Review

I thought that this would be a lot to spend on "readers." However, after finding an optometrist who told me that my dissatisfaction with progressive lenses and bifocal contacts was due to the fact that I only needed correction for close vision, I have been a lot happier with just readers. These do a great job of helping me read fine print like aspirin bottles but also work very well at laptop/computer screen distances. The optometrist recommended +1.5 and the half-magnification on the top part of the lenses (for computers/mid distance) works as well as advertised. In addition the frames are light, comfortable and attractive - they don't look like "old-person" readers. The only thing I wish they had at this price is a non-glare coating. I notice that with light behind me the lenses to catch some glare. That said, you could get 3-5 pair of these for the price of cheap regular frames and prescription lenses, so it's hard to complain. I would buy these again in a heartbeat.

This watch is terrific for reminding you when you have multiple medications you need to take during the day, especially when you are away from home. There are very few watches (or alarm clocks) out there that provide multiple alarms.
However, when the battery runs down, you are stuck. It has 4 tiny hard to unscrew screws. And then the battery seems to be glued inside. Then I read the manual, and it says you have to take it to a jeweler to be replaced. With every other digital watch I have ever owned, you could unsnap the case or unscrew it with a quarter and replace the battery yourself. Why couldn't they have done that with this watch?

Mio Shape Select Heart Rate Monitor Watch Review

I purchased this monitor to avoid having to wear a chest strap during my workouts. I thought that the strap would be uncomfortable and I like the idea of just touching the face of this monitor and getting my heartrate. The first time I used it, I had little difficulty. It is easy to program, gives an adequate amount of info for the average fitness routine and relatively comfortable. However, once I started my first workout, I encountered some problems. This monitor is difficult, if not impossible, to use while running. You must stop or slow down considerably to allow your fingers to make a decent connection with the sensors. It took me a few tries to get a reading, by which point my heartrate had dropped. I had the same difficulty while spinning. I was not able to keep track of my heartrate until I was sitting and in recovery. This isn't really convenient in a standing climb where you're trying to reach a target and can't tell where you're at until you're finished. Plus, I wasn't always able to get a reading the first time and had to try again, and sometimes again, leaving me with a less than accurate reading.

I still really like the convenience of this item, however it doesn't seem to work for the type of exercise I'm doing. It seems like a great HRM for those who don't like a chest strap and are doing low impact activities or interval programs that allow for some down time in which to get a reading. However if you are involved in continuous or high impact movement, I wouldn't recommend it.

This product works very well, considering it is free of the aluminum that is typically added to antacids.
Until recently, I was taking Aciphex for acid reflux. Due to side effects of Aciphex (and the other similar products), I stopped taking it and started taking this product. I want to be cautious of taking aluminum-laced products since they are suspected to cause health issues, including Parkinson's disease.
I find this product to be quite effective with dealing with my acid reflux problem. It's best to take the product between meals, and if you know you are going to eat something that will irritate the stomach, it's good to take another 2 tablets.
For those who have bad stomach/acid problems like me, I suggest carrying some tablets in a snack ziplock bag so you always have them on hand.
For acid reflux, I suggest taking two tablets before bedtime, since that is when the reflux problem gets worse.
Overall, I would definitely recommend trying this product.
