I have owned seven massage tables prior to this one, three of them were in the same price range. I know you get what you pay for, but man this table is of such poor quality that it is not practical for much. It is labeled as a massage table, but I would not use it for that unless you are just a couple in your homes and want something cheap. As a professional or even a student there are quite a few reasons I would not recommend this table.

- Terrible Foam Quality: The foam used to support the person laying on the table is very poor quality. It is far too soft. I am terribly worried about it breaking down quick. Every other table I have had the foam was far more stuff, and had about half of the give this one does. My larger clients might end up feeling the wood below. My hand can easily sink 1 1/2 inches in without me even putting my full body weight on it. This is unacceptable.

- Terrible Material Quality: The material used to cover the table is too soft and fragile. It is not made for anything more than light use. In moderate to heavy use I'm sure this material will end up tearing. It is way too flimsy. I've had a few tears in materials that were far sturdier than this material.

- Non Articulating Headrest: The headrest is not very adjustable. It swings up and down, but you can not lower it at the base like most massage tables I have ever owned.

- Terrible Arm Rest: The arm rest is held on by a few flimsy velcro straps. For my smaller clients this will be fine. But if I have larger clients I am a bit worried that the straps will make noise. I'm not worried they will come undone, but I'm sure they will scrunch around and start to loosen up with larger arms resting on them. Making the client feel uneasy that it may come undone, and that would not be relaxing at all.

I have practiced therapeutic massage for over ten years now, and I've had minor quibbles with this or that table, but I've never been so disappointed in a product before. I can't believe anyone would sell this junk.

For a few people this table may be okay. Who I would recommend buy this table:

- Tattoo artists, it's just fine for that.
- Couples who are using at home for their partner, and use it once in a while.

Stay away from this table if:

- You plan on using it often.
- You are a professional massage therapist.
- You expect at least moderate quality.

I don't usually slam products so hard, but I can't believe no one brought any of these points up in their reviews. I will be ordering another table and selling this one on craigslist.
