The SMD LEDs provide optimum illumination and with the optional yellow filter in place, a second warmer white light is available. The step-up converter provides consistent illumination over time because the power supply of the LED is evenly regulated - this provides an efficiency level of more than 80 percent. First the positives: the item is indeed made in Germany. The fit & finish is decent. The LED light is even & no flickering. Everything else falls down. The LENS is cheap lightweight plastic. The chromatic aberration is on par with Chinese toy lenses. The peripheral distortion is at least 50%. The body material is low quality lightweight plastic - either polystyrene, or similar breakable garbage, not PMMA. The lens cover is a trivial slip on nylon boot like something from the DollarStore. I was bitterly disappointed - for $165 you'd think German manufacturers would something to reward your spending. This is the product of overtaxed, socialized worker-first manufacturing ideology. Quality manufacturing in Europe is dead. Don't buy this.

I was so happy to get this. It was a great deal, although the arm band was a piece of crap that was very tiny and only fit some old discontinued MP3 player. The reason I sent it back was because I specifically wanted a heart rate monitor watch that I could touch for an instant reading and i didn't have to wear the chest band. If you don't mind wearing the chest band to get a reading, this is a great deal.

I bought this walker because it has a large weight capacity. It came and was easy to put together and worked very well. Seemed sturdy, brakes worked well, no problem with the walker. The problem was me. I did not read the description well enough. The seat was too low and the wheel base was a tad too narrow. My husband has a larger one and it works great. No problem with the product, just my reading skills.
