I sometimes ride in jeans, and I bought these protectors to add a bit of padding for my knees. I've got a Forcefield back protector for my Dainese jacket, and I like the quality of their product, and I wasn't let down with this purchase.

They fit under my jeans without a problem, and they're so lightweight I don't even know I'm wearing them (and the straps keep them in place without being too tight or uncomfortable)- they only offer impact protection for the kneecap and upper shin, but that's the area most likely to hit the ground in a crash- I wouldn't wear them on a racetrack, but on the street they're a fantastic alternative to what most of us wear (which usually means no knee protection)- if all my jackets didn't already have elbow armor, I'd get another set for my arms.

A bit pricey, but the cost will be far outweighed by the benefits if you ever end up testing them out the hard way...
