I have had my Dictus Band for about a month now and find it quite effective. Although it rubbed some blisters around the top of my foot initially, I've developed the necessary calluses now.

My main complaint - I have already worn through 2 of the rubber rings at about 5 dollars each, though admittedly I have done quite a bit of hiking, maybe 50 or more km. However, I have discovered that 3 or 4 ordinary heavy duty rubber bands work just as well.

A second note - I had to reshape the hooks to work with my hiking shoes which have quite small but deep eyes for the laces - the leather is thick. This was not easy without specialized tools.
