UltraSling II - Shoulder Immobilizer Review

Post-op Right Rotator Cuff Repair and was told I have to wear a sling for six weeks. After two weeks I'm finally getting use to my new "friend", but this was after a few modifications to the original model.
I suggest going to an auto store and buying a seat belt padding for the strap around the neck. Real sheep hide is the best, but the synthetic is just as good. It adds extra padding and comfort. Next the strap that supports the foam pillow that goes around your waist. Eventually it will start cutting into your side with wear. Go to Home Depot or a fabric store and get some velco and build it up. This will stop the cutting into your sat night while you try to sleep upright. As for the little red ball - do with it what you want. It's annoying and the other mods would help those of us who are required to wear this thing for six weeks.
After all is said and done this sling provides excellent protects for my shoulder.
