Not sure if this can was necessarily designed to be used as a diaper pail, but it certainly does the job. It's really great at controlling odor. It has a compartment to add some sort of filter, but I don't even add a filter. Nice size, and really better than any diaper pail out there, and I've tried many. I simply spray inside can with vinegar and water to freshen up after the day, and use normal kitchen trash bags.
