When my son was about 1 year old, he got these as a gift. He loved his 'guys', and took them everywhere. They went in the bath with him, to the park, in the car, etc. They wash up/sanitize easily, and can take much abuse. When Elmo went missing, I panicked, and jumped right online to get a new set shipped overnight (only to find him in the bottom of the diaper bag, of course!). At 3, my son still plays with them occasionally, using them as passengers in his airplanes or trucks or boats. I just wish they made the same type of set with Big Bird, Zoe, and Grover!
