Mine came separated so I had to mix a tiny bit of bandaid wash with it and it was back to new. You can also use witch hazel but I prefer the bandaid brand antiseptic. It also has 1 or 2% lidocaine in it. It works really well. Also make sure you shake these inks on a regular basis because they separate almost immediately again. That being said the color is vibrant and amazing so the little bit of extra work is totally worth it. :)
