I had an ACL replacement and I have used various braces. I have a high-end brace that connects to my leg with five straps. The high-end brace attaches from my lower thigh to above my calf. It is a nice brace but I need something high speed low drag. I came across the Breg Shortrunner. This brace is quick and easy to put on. The brace is not long and cumbersom like my high-end brace and about a sixth of the cost. I can drop my pants and wrap up my knee in this brace in a matter of a minute. The brace is comfortable and with the air-mesh material it breathes keeping my knee cool. Most of all it provides the protection that I need in my line of work. I purchased a large and it was to big. I returned the brace for a medium and the medium functions great. The brace comes with "Stops" to prevent hyperextension. This is a great working brace with great stable protection. Highly recommended.
